I've never had delivery from Wal-Mart but I now frequently get bulk items and case lots delivered from Sams. If you have a plus card delivery is free and fast (2-3 days) and no surprises about quality.  We live three hrs from either Sams or Costco so I'm glad I discovered this option.

@QVCkitty1 I plan on not going in a grocery store again.  I do so much better doing pickups.  I get what I want, don't spend time doing it and pretty much have that box checked off the list!

@QVCkitty1   I have been ordering groceries from Wal-Mart for about 5 years but I pick them up at the store to save tips and fees.  I drive up there, it's just 1 mile, check in by phone and they bring my groceries out after a short wait.  I try to go weekdays before 9am for less waiting.  You pick the day and time you want to go and they'll have them ready.  I've encountered very few problems and once again the store seems to be stocked with everything I need.

@QVCkitty1   I have been using Amazon fresh twice a month and I am  very pleased with everything from ordering to delivery to how fresh everything is.  my orders come in two hours or less!   I thought I would NEVER order groceries this way... but it is so nice not to have to get dressed... drive and waste gas and then be around all the germs while shopping... sure... I still go to the store, just much less often.  I have also used Walmart.

We have been having our groceries delivered since the pandemic.  I do occassionally stop by the grocery store to pick up a few things but our weekly shopping is delivered.  We only have one large grocery store chain in our area which is not very impressive and more expensive than it is worth but that is all about to change as a Wegman's will be opening less than a mile from our home in about a month.  I can't wait!  Once it opens we may do more shopping in person depending on how crowded it is on the weekends when we need to do our weekly shopping.

We have no type of delivery around here.  The nearest Walmart and Weis are probably 12 miles away, (1 way) we are too far out. Same with CVS and any pizza/food delivery.

I go to a small family owned market once in awhile.

My daughter doesn't mind grocery shopping and works a couple miles from a Wegmans and a Target. Sometimes she does a pick up order at Target if she has other stops on the way home. She knows the prices and the layouts so she is usually in and out pretty quick.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 , I live in a small town and delivery is a fairly recent option. Like Isaid I won't use it all of the time, but it is very handy.

My grocery post made me think of my dad. When he retired, he developed a liking for grocery shopping. My mom would make him lists, and he would call me asking if I needed anything. You bet I did. He didn't mind the drive to Wegmans ( his favorite ) and we were glad to offload this chore. Ah, better days !

It's a nice option. Probably not available by me, but something I'd consider. The curbside pick-up in also a nice option.
