Today we woke up to dense fog in Albuquerque.

Rare in these parts, but very cool when we do get it. Woman LOL

First snow picture of the season that I've seen. Gives me hope that our temperatures are going to start reflecting the season. 64° right now so I guess that's not too bad. Beautiful picture!

I didn't realize that Santa Fe got snow.  I figured in the mountains, guess I should do some reading.

@roeroe1005.  Santa Fe is right at the foot of the mighty Sangre de Christo Mountains at an altitude of 9,000ft, the highest state Capitol in the USA.  They have a nice ski area.

North Central New Mexico is under a winter storm watch for the next 3 days.  Albuquerque could get snow.  We're  over 5,200ft in altitude, about the same as Denver.

Crazy the desert SW should get snow before New England or @Lilysmom1 in Nova Scotia.  We don't usually have to shovel it as it evaporates in the dry air.

@rockygems123.  That red bush is gorgeous!  I'd plant a whole forest of those.

We're  under a winter storm watch for the next 3 days.  90% chance of snow or rain/snow mix.  We need moisture.

@monicakm.  It'll come eventually.  Last week we had a 84° high; today it's in the 40s. It's our altitude that allows us to have real winter weather.

@Kachina624 We haven't had a white Christmas for a few years.  Our weather has  hanged significantly.  Our Halloween kids were out in 70 degree weather trick or treating.  Our summer/fall season lasts much longer than it used to.  We still shovel quite a bit of snow though!
