Re: Sandra Bennett

[ Edited ]

It's strange that she has changed to be much more talkative lately. She used to be very reserved, so calm. Maybe she was asked to perk up her presentations; show more verve and vivacity. She also could be drinking more coffee, it tends to make people get more talkative and animated. I have no problems watching Sandra. She is prepared and professional.

I like her very much, but I will agree that last night on Fri Nite Beauty she did seem to be talking extremely fast, it was very noticeable.

I agree.  She's always been one of my favorites!

I've always enjoyed her calm demeanor. Watched her for a few minutes last night and she was a bit overly excited. I don't think it's her fault, I think she's doing what the producers are telling her to do. I find myself shopping more and more on the "items recently on air" link on the home page but miss out on the one time only prices.

@Carolina925 I noticed a change in her presentation style as far back as when Lisa R. left QVC. I think either tptb informed her she would basically be taking over the beauty shows or she saw it as an opportunity to shine (she was no longer in her shadow). Up until then her demeanor was very low key. Now, whenever she is kicking off a TSV, I know to hit mute for at least the first 15 seconds because her voice is so loud and she tends to be effusive with false enthusiasm.

Wow!😮 I have ALWAYS found her to be quite engaging, with a pleasing voice that is easy to listen to.😊 She is one of several hosts I have enjoyed for many sunsets!!😁

I like Sandra & she is the only host to be hired straight from her audition.  Sandra, Rosina & Amy are the only hosts I watch.  I do not like Mary D. With her. I don't watch much anymore.

I think Sandra has the Best hair. I like to see how she wears it each time she’s on. But then it’s turn the channel, because she loses my interest fast. The one reason the hosts talk so fast is because they think it will get us to make a purchase without giving it too much thought. Sorta of like an auctioneer that gets you SO EXCITED and all you want to do is Buy, Buy, Buy!!! 😁

@RescueLover Sandra has said that she never goes on air without hair extensions.

I think Sandra is a lovely, kind host and is one of my favorites. I've noticed, though,  she's been on quite a bit recently. Probably filling in for hosts taking time off because of the holidays.
