@catter70   I addition, my monthly insurance benefit payment went UP with my retirement system because I have a PPO. 

 

After I retired (5 yrs ago) I was charged $3.00/month to enroll in a PPO instead of a HMO.  THIS YEAR, my monthly payment amount is $88.00!!  

 

Of course, I'll absorb it because I love my PPO and all the excellent medical care it provies to me.  However, on that basis, my actual monthly pension amt will go DOWN by a few $$.
