Thanks, @luvmybeetle , I'm not sure what I'll end up with, but I'm pretty sure my health care supp, medicare, dental and taxes I have taken out will eat up most, if not all of it.

My medicare went up too.  I had heart surgery in Feb. so I think I used up a good amount of my insurance this year.

I'll tell ya.  I know we often go thru Soc Sec apprehensions, & rumblings about its viability, year, after year,  (esp when it's out of money).  So I'm particularly cautious about what changes in Soc Sec, the system-to-come, now.  I'm trying to keep my ear to the ground, esp abt systemic changes now.

Do you have a mysocialsecurity account? If so, check it. I saw mine there last week.

Just don't get excited. I doubt it's enough to cover the increase in Medicare.

@CalminHeart , I tried. Not sure if I had an acct. or not at some point, but tried to create a new acct. and now I've tried too many times and am locked out. If I had one one, I can't find my info.
