Sounds very good for those of us on SS. I will wait and see the Net amount, in my first January 2023 SS deposit. Percentages don't mean much to me until I see the amount actually deposited in my bank account.

The last raise for ss checks was the same amount that they raised the Part B payment that is required. It was a wash. Inflation is now 9%...so if there is another hit on Part B...you are losing money. All will be revealed in the new year.

The article that I read said we could get "as much as" 10.4%.

A female public servant who shall remain nameless is said to want SS to increase every recipients' monthly check by $200.

Hmm ... I think a $200 a month raise would be very nice.

PA mom-mom: my mom works part time at McDonald's...not for everyone, but she has a very flexible schedule and works openings so she is off by 10 or 11 everyday she works. Best of luck!
