I purchased 2 pair of Spenco slides last year.  Since my knee surgeries, my feet feel better in a wide width shoe, and these feel fine.

My only complaint with the shoes is they make my feet sweat.   The only other shoe I had this type of issue with was the old type of rubber thong flip flops.

I have a wide upper foot and my heel is normal.  I wear a regular size in spenco.  I would think the wide would be wide.

Just an FYI..super comfy shoes.

The soles are rubber but the uppers are not.  The footbed in my spenco's is cork.  They are amazingly comfy.

I tried this brand and it had an elevated triangular shaped thing near the ball of the foot on the insole that was very uncomfortable.  Never saw that on a flip flop before.  It is not comfortable and I don't wear them.
