Several years ago we had a couple of painters here.  I used the word "gingerly" in a sentence while talking to them.  They wanted to know who Ginger was and what did she have to do with what we were talking about Smiley Surprised  OY!

But really a whatchamcallit I use when I can't for the life of me think of a word! Doohickey is when something is in it's own right, well, a doohickey lol!
