Oh boy, I hope your cousin is getting better.  I might have mis-heard this.....this flu is still contagious 10 days after the person is asymptomatic????  DS's teacher was out the other week with it.

DS has a fever.  I didn't take his temp.  He drank hot chocolate and went back to sleep.  I'll get it when he wakes up.

I'm gonna make a big pot of spicy chicken noodle soup this afternoon.

@MickD, that soup sounds so good! I always knew when DD had a fever just by looking at her and feeling her forehead with my hand. Then I would take it with a thermometer 🌡. Yep, you got a fever. Go back to bed.

@loveschocolate he just woke up and went upstairs.  He always runs a little hot when he's sick....I freak out....yada yada.

@loveschocolate no fever now. Just a sore throat and body aches.  Hopefully, he can go to school tomorrow.  He has a college course (that just started last week) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Wishing SHOWME a stress free day at the doctor's office/treatment and she gets a belly full of great food when she gets home and OH YEAH, a whopping big ole NAP too.  Ain't that right, SHOWME?  SHOWME?  SHOWME?

Okay, I just heard some zzzzzzzz's, so she's out like a light, lol.

Hope PREDS' momma is doing okay.  Has anyone heard?  Hope DOOBDOO and PREDS are also feeling better.

This board is acting wonky again.  I just posted this and it threw me out and I had to reload.  I'm getting tired of posting and it doing this.....so I'm outta here for awhile.  Everyone have a great day.

HRH's surgery went well.  As per Gooday's FB:  The gangrenous gallbladder was removed.  HRH is on a soft diet and the plan is for him to get up and out of bed today.

DS is at college this am, then high school in the afternoon.  He also has to work from 4 to 8, so I hope he's up to it.

Husband is taking Sammie to the orthopedic vet in Irvine at noon.  No food since midnight.. we won't know if she needs surgery or not.  She is not happy right now without food/snacks.
