I slept a few hours. Stupid cough. Ugh....

I haven't been this sick since college when I missed my final exams. The older you get, the longer it takes to get better. Poor DD, she's still sick, but she's pushing thru it to go to the college camp today. She'll probably come home and go to bed. She has a lot of makeup work to do for school since she missed Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Her volleyball coach didn't let her play Thursday because she missed two practices and a match. She probably won't play Tuesday. No big deal. She loves volleyball but she needs to get well and the coach is a jerk.

Volleyball needs to wait. She needs to concentrate on her school work and getting better first. Coach can stick it! Both of you need to get your health back first and her grades are more important this year.

I given a couple of shout outs to BFran, but Benz must be keeping her very busy because she hasn't dropped in. Gooday is still having trouble with her knee and also feeling poorly. She's trying to get in to see her doc. May try to give her a call today.

Good morning girls.....Preds, loves, and sweetpea.

First, Preds......I just spoke with Gooday.......she's having a rough time of it today. Trying to get herself ready to go get some blood work done, but taking her a long time. She is experiencing some dizziness now. She sounded short of breath too. Dreading having to go down the stairs to get to the car and then have to come back up when she gets home. She did mention something about thyroid. Her DH and I both are thinking maybe since she hasn't really been eating (not hungry) that this may be making her dizzy..... I suggested a bowl of veggie soup...... She said she would call me when she gets home. Gooday did say you had e-mailed her and that she e-mailed you back. I am really very concerned about her.

loves......take the weekend to get to feeling better. Know that coughing hurts, but it is good to get that stuff up......

Everything here is ok......we had a storm move through here last evening and it did cool things off quite a bit. Right now it is in the 60's, and only supposed to get up in the 70's today. Tonight low about 57.....I can take that. Next week it is supposed to either be in the upper 70's or very low 80's. So, here's hoping that we won't have any more of that terrifically hot temps.
