It was the guy who took them he did not want to give them back to the uncle. the uncle was ready to beat the day lights out of the room mate., when he would not give them back.

Well, the drunk upstairs is at it again tonight. I don't know if he is home or not, but that da*n TV of his has gone off of being on the box he has for it......and it is making that horrible noise it makes when it does that. It's the box folks need for picking up regular TV.....not cable. This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks it has done this......and it is very noisy when it does it. The last time I called him on his cell phone and left a message for him. He was in a tavern when he got my message, and boy did I ever get a nasty call from him because of leaving that message for him. He was so drunk when he called I had a hard time deciphering what he was trying to say to me. I told him I didn't ever want to talk to him again. So, I called the owner/landlord a few minutes ago and told him I am not sure if he is home or not, but he has to do something about that jerk. I have slammed both the front and back door to my apartment, and that didn't phase him if he is home. His truck is there, but maybe someone picked him up to go drinking. But why in the world does he go off and let the TV going. That is not very smart to do. Oh, I am so hissed off right now.

Hi Showme! Hope the tornado on April 27 did not do any damage in St. Louis. My house was hit here in Ar. and we lost everything! Its been so hard this last month but we decided not to rebuild. We are closing on a home Tuesday in Romance Ar. We lived in that house in Vilonia for 37 years and she helped us raise 4 wonderful children. So we have a new beginning in a new town.

Oh my gosh arklady.......it has been ages. Oh dear I am so sorry to hear about your home being destroyed and losing everything. Oh so many memories were lost. No, we didn't have any damage from that tornado. Thank goodness. 37 years in the same house is a long time, and bet the kids are sorry about that too.

But fortunately you are able to start all over again in a new town and new home. Here's wishing you the best of luck and happiness. Can't imagine what you have been through, and I don't ever want to have to go through that. After such a horrible winter, and then a tornado......I would say you deserve some happiness now. God be with you and your DH. Good luck on the closing and the move......Take care sweetie.

Arklady ~ Oh no!!! How devastating!! I hope everyone is okay. Good luck on your closing...there's nothing scarier than a tornado...I'll take an occasional earthquake over tornadoes.....

Oh my, just noticed the Heiress thread has been poofed. Wonder if I caused that to happen.....it was getting pretty nasty before I signed off and left for a while. They just don't get it on Viewpoints.

Arklady, I don't know you but send my condolences on your lost home. So awful. I have a stepbrother who lives in Arkansas and he is okay.
