My children throw fits around here because I don't keep my doors locked during the day. My son came in tonight and said " one of these days someone is going to get into this house and you can't walk good and just what the he-- do you think is going to happen in here"? I have lived here for 54 years and never had any problems but they are right if someone got in here I would be done for. They want me to carry my phone around in case I fall. I guess I will keep these doors locked from now on. You better believe I am not going to tell him what happened to you or I will be getting another sermon. Take care friend.
Hi Lady Jane.......No, I don't need to carry my phone around in my pocket when I'm in my apartment. Am very close to my phones, and have easy access to them. Yes, we do have good locks on our doors, plus there is a chain lock on both the front and back.
About your leaving your doors unlocked when you are home alone, remember times have changed. I had an aunt and uncle that lived in Elmore, OH, just outside of Toledo. It was a very lovely little town and everyone there would go away and leave their houses unlocked. Until one day, one of the homes had been completely robbed of almost everything. Then everyone started locking their doors.
You take care too. Am sort of waiting for the skating to start. And until then, I am watching some of the Olympics......

I am waiting for the ice skating to start also. I wish it would get started already. I cracked up when I read Lady Jane, when I was a kid and I would do some thing wrong my parents would tell me "lady Jane as long as your living under this roof-------------" or ok Lady Jane you don't know every thing" Jane wasn't even my name but at certain times it was!!! Well we are waiting for more snow tonight and the roads are supposed to be bad in the morning and someone here has to be out the doors before 6am.

As much as I love the Olympics, I think they are on way tooooo long.
Tell that someone to be careful heading out the door that early. How much snow are they predicting you are supposed to be getting?
I have had it with snow and ice........

ShowMe we are supposed to get at least 4-6 inches of snow and ice on top of that and he has a one hour drive to get to work on a good day. I agree these Olympics are on long I liked it when they would stick with one thing I'd rather watch the ice skating then the other events.

Good morning sweetpea and Predsfan. DD is on a 2 hour delay. I need to go out and see if my garage door will open.....

Hey, Predsfan. I have never heard of Tom's footwear so I googled it. Cute shoes! Are they comfortable?

Mornin' sweetpea and loves. Hope you got caught up on your coffee sweetpea. I'm way ahead with my diet cokes. Hasn't helped, but I'm ahead.
Loves .... did you get that door open or does DD get to stay home all day? Say your moving South soon? LOL
Hi cater ... Did you enjoy the Ice Dancing? We watched it yesterday afternoon and LOVED it. So beautful and awesome. Amazed at what they can do on the ice.
Rondell ... I'll be so happy when I start seeing out hummingbirds. We set out tons of feeders and they love to "fight" for certain ones, too. So funny to watch.
ShowMe ... No flu here, just a headcold thanks to my neighbor. She came over the other day complaining her DH had given her his cold ... guess she though she should pass it on, too LOL
MickD ... how is DS? Did you whop him up side the head? LOL
Good morning to everyone else. I'll try to catch up with ya'll as you wander in. Wishing everyone a blessed, warm, happy day. See ya' later. ![]()

When I got them, they were light as a feather and no support and I though, gee what a waste of money. Well, I've worn them pretty much non stop. It's hard to describe. Kinda like going barefoot, but my feet don't seem to get too tired. Sketchers makes some cheaper called Bobs. I think I may give them a try to see what they are like. These were a gift from a neighbor and I just love them.
