Mornin' @loveschocolate!   Roads still frozen.  Still advising everyone to stay off if possible.  Freezing fog and 13 degrees this morning.  BRRRRR!!!!!

No change on dad and haven't talked to DD.  She is working and we don't usually talk when she is.  I'm sure she is monitoring the weather and knows how bad it is.  Hoping when she is done this afternoon she decides to wait until morning before trying a seven hour drive.  I'll send her a message later. 

How are your bunch doing?  NJ looks bad.  Haven't seen anything about NC.

@Preds, well, my nephew in NJ is busy shoveling snow. Don't know about my BIL in NC. My niece in Maryland is busy shoveling snow, but her 2 year old son loves playing in the snow. They used to live in Florida, so this is his real, first snowstorm. ☃☃☃☃

After this snow your niece may want to move back to Florida.  Hahahaha!  I bet they are having fun with son @loveschocolate!

I hope everyone - and all loved ones - survived this storm with no big problems.  Hugs go out to all, especially dear @Preds and dear @Showme!  And hugs to all the furbabies we love!  Hi to @Benzi!  Don't know how it happened, but we only got a dusting of snow.  I guess we filled our quota last winter.  Feel so bad for so many.

Hello my dear friend @NAES!  I think of you often and miss you.  I can understand what it is like to spend a lot of time on a posting, only to have it disappear before you can post it.  It has happened to me, too.  I hope you, DH, and your DS's are doing well.  I think of your little one KitTEE and wish kitty would decide to adopt you.  I hope your love and patience pays off.  Take care and be well.  Post when you can.

@Preds, Oh,  my.  I hope DH is healing quickly from his accident.  That sounds awful.  And your dear Dad…  I think all of us see the medical center staff didn’t do their job properly.  I’m so sorry.  And I’m so sorry for those here who can relate to what you and your Dad and your family are experiencing.  I hope you’re feeling better, too, and that cough is gone.

@croemer,  I know you’ve experienced so much with your parents, and your words and comfort to  others are so helpful.  (((cyberhugs))) to you for being so kind and supportive, even while you feel the emotions of your memories.

@Babyfran, I’m glad Baby Benzi’s ears are improving and also that you have power!  Things are looking up!

@PamfromCT,  I’ve seen several double posts in different threads.  That was a “feature” of the old forum platform and it seems to be visiting us again.  Maybe the hidden meaning is that the forum "spirits" really, really like your posts!

@MaRina and @MickD, I hope y’all are coping with all the rain, but I know it was badly needed.

@NAES1, You’re so sweet.  I’m glad you “whispered” to us about croemer’s special day so we all could wish her well.  I hope KitTEE fared well in the bad weather!

@cater, I’m sorry your sister is still having problems.  It does sound like she might be doing too much too soon, but as ShowMe said we usually  have little influence on our siblings.  I hope her next tests have good results.

@Suziepeach,  I really, really hope you know that there was nothing wrong in your posts about NAES and her birthday.  What you did was to send good wishes and love to someone…  you sent love out into the universe, and no one can ever be faulted for that.  I enjoy your posts, your insights, and your sense of humor,  and I hope you’ll continue to join in when you feel like it.

@fourpaws56, I’m so sorry you had the flu!  And then to have to be working, and moving, at the same time.  I hope you’re feeling better and can take some time to rest and recuperate.  Influenza can really deplete a person, and recovery can take a while.  My flu vaccinations have protected me well over the years (knock on wood!) but even with those we still can be susceptible to a lighter case of the flu.

@loveschocolate, I’m glad Domino is on the mend.  That’s so interesting about the old house you visited.  When I lived in Winston-Salem, we rented one of the houses in Old Salem, and it was built in about 1850.  There’s something so special, mysterious, lovely about those houses.  If they could tell stories, how cool would that be.  Your home sounds wonderful!

(((@ShowMe)))  Glad you got the new arrangements for your Visiting Angels.  I wish you were feeling better, but it's all a part of your body's defenses gearing up and fighting to make you stronger in the long run.   Just keep doing whatever helps you to feel better and more comfy, and be gentle with yourself.

I’m really concerned about all those missing items.  The agencies who send people to your home are supposed to be bonded and insured…  I think they would want to know if someone is stealing, and you probably could also be compensated for the losses.

That was good of the hospital to call and let you know all the details.  I think the unknown bothers us a lot more than the actual experience, in just about any case.  I learned a lot about that when I took the Dale Carnegie course, which helped me so much in learning about worry and how to conquer it.  Just remember all of us are with you in spirit… and will be there with you in spirit…  and our spirit is darned strong!  Love you, Sweetie!

I know I've been missing for a long time. I read back and I see so many are having problems. Stolen clothes, sick and injured people and the list goes on. 

It breaks my heart that so many of you guys are having so many problems. Hugs to all of you!
