I would have posted the `quote` where you mentioned me along with so many of your other friends, but thought I would start off in remembering you, as always.

I am so grateful for all of your information pre- and lastly from these many weeks.

Actually just got here but did read the long line of posters so I'm sort of ....squeezing in.... to say...I have you in my ever prayer for good health.

We both know that there is certainly a lot of 'friends on board*<-(created-ohh ha for me) who are going through difficult times.

I want to see you much better, not necessarily super active, CUZ I sure am not!

God Loves You and I am praying He holds you tightly within His Wisdom. I depend completely on my Lord for help which is constantly a day to day meditation quiet period.

Thank you for your endearing light, just knowing about my present happiness for that special anniversary day. We never know if there will be another one- no matter what our age may be.

I am a happy person. My husband brings sunshine to my life~ all of his waking hours. He is a very special man, dooB.

I just do not see that, nor sense those relationships, anymore. So I do look at the glass half full and live as this is my last. I may not be totally one hundred positive every moment but I do know love from another whom loves me in the same way.

**I know that you, too had that very same thing**

I realized that one of us will go first so those seconds becoming to hours, then days, I have to focus on. The world is a restless place and love of God, __ having or being in love is very valuable to us__.

I will get around to Showme soon; have told her to rest her eyes -not to strain and enjoy all the words that she types, reads and those phone call she receives, along with her precious sister's visits.

Thinking about you right now.

Have many days comforting you; enjoy your reading.

With lovingly thoughts flowing to you -

                    ~God Bless dooBdoo~

Good evening everyone.  Thought I better get on here and let you all know I felt you with me this morning.  Of course before I get get my treatment, she (nurse) had to get my vitals......BP was 113/60....., temp was normal, pulse was good, and blood work was EXCELLENT......  As hot as it got outside, that is how cold it got in there.  Did put a blanket over me for a while.  Sure do meet some really nice women there.  The woman that was sitting in the chair next to me was very interesting.  We got to discussing the side affects we have each had, and boy we are pretty much alike in that respect.  Yet, our chemo is different.  Another thing, she has gained 15 pounds, and I have been losing.......  She comes in on trhe same schedule I do, but her treatment lasts only 1/2 hr......  and mine is 1 hr.    We both started talking to the nurse about dry skin......the nurse was very emphatic about using Aveeno with the oatmeal........  I have been using Lubriderm, but do have the other here, so I will start using it.  The nurse said that Dr. G recommends that to all his patients when the ask about dry skin.......which is not uncommon for chemo patients.......

When I came home, I made a very light lunch, then sat down on the sofa to watch the TV (Chicago happenings of today).....  Boy, when will that ever stop......  Had a few calls I needed to make, got through with them, and boy next thing I know it was about 3:30.....

Right now I am finishing my chicken salad sandwich, sliced tomato, and creamy cole slaw.  And, am not going to be able to finish it......getting full.

Once again, thank you to those that sent me good thoughts, prayers, etc.  You are all so darn special to me.......and love ya'll.......so darn much........

It really doesn't take long for this chemo I am on to start doing its think in me.......and think I will be hitting the bed early tonight, and want to try to do nothing tomorrow but just rest.  As I have said I try not to do anything the 2 days following treatment day.  Just don't have it in me.

You all take care, and I will get back to you sometime soon.  I can take phone calls for any of you that wish to call that have my number.

Hi, @ShowMe!  I'm so happy to hear your good report.  We "mama hens" feel better when we know you're taking good care of yourself.  I hope today will be a good one, too, and that you'll remember and feel all the love encircling you.Heart

@Preds, good morning! DH got his new car last night. Drove an hour to a dealership to get it and got a fair price for the trade in. So sometime today I will get a chance to drive it! Woooohooooo! It's a 2015 Jeep Cherokee in blue. Gotta do some walking today...probably won't last long. It's so hot and humid here with no relief in sight! Sometime this week we need to drive to DD's college and drop off some money. We forgot when she was home Sunday. She will be so surprised about the new car!!!!

Hi, @loveschocolate!Heart  Happy dance for the new car!  Enjoy!  And have a wonderful day!

Good Morning @lifeisgood! Smiley Happy

Happy Wednesday, @Preds!Heart  Those meetings days are stinkers, aren't they?  In one of my workplaces we had a supervisor who swore he was going to start holding his meetings in a room with no chairs so everyone would move along at a brisk pace and waste no time...Smiley  Oh, well, you'll be glad when the meetings are done.  Take care.

Re: SHOWME'S Mr. Lucky......

dooBdoo, thank you for your kind and encouraging words, and the assurance of your prayers. There's nothing better that we can do for one another. I appreciate being thought of as part of this group of special women. Hope your day is blessed.

ShowMe, thank you for posting even when it's hard. Grateful you made it through another treatment and have the sense to take care of yourself and lie low until the worst passes. Our pastor's wife has had breast cancer sine 2006. The usual surgery and treatments, remission, recurrence, more surgery and treatments, etc. She is looking good now, but she does put on weight. We are all different in how we respond to medications, surgeries, etc. Glad you can eat. Some can't. Hubby had no appetite while going through radiation, or afterward. Kept losing weight. He's free of all that now in the Father's house. Take care of yourself. Lots of people count on your smiling face and witting remarks.

Re: SHOWME'S Mr. Lucky......

Happy Hump Day ladies ~ How wonderful to see the thoughtful posts while some are going through emotionally tough times.  While there are those who undergo chemo, radiation and various treatments for physical ailments, there is no tangible cure for the blues.  I love to see the written word that encourages the thoughts and prayers of our friends experiencing hard times.

I think of you ladies each and every day. Heart
