I watched Erin Newburgs podcast on YT and she had Melissa Miner on as a guest.  It was the best podcast.  Melissa Miner was telling a lot of good info about being on the show and who she loved working with.  She did mention that especially in the beginning in the 90's it was very cut throat and everyone for themselves.   They pretty much get paid on how many $ per minute things are selling.  

She wasn't planning on retiring for two more years but she didn't like what they were planning to move forward.  She wanted out.  It was very interesting.

I watched the podcast too, Melissa was always one of my favorites. I remember most of the hosts she was talking about. The 90's and early 2000's were the best for shopping there.

Today they have $60 percent off if you purchase $99. When it was 40% and claiming "final markdowns" last weekend I ordered a Samuel B necklace silver necklace. It is in shipment. Trying to stop myself from ordering anything else. SamuelB was the only company I was really familiar with so I'm a little shy about taking a chance on items I can't return. This might be a good time to buy something gold though.

Okay, I am just shopping for gold jewelry--no time to look at anything else.

I was hesitating about a few things yesterday, and some sizes and items sold out quickly.  I purchased three items now--extreme bargains!!

I will certainly miss the variety and high quality jewelry they carried for so many years.

I wonder if some of their famous vendors will move elsewhere.
