I'm pretty smug because I've never been hacked.  I almost was last week, though.  Email from Netflix telling me my auto-payment was rejected and they needed something re-submitted.  Since I've been planning on canceling Netflix anyway, I ignored it.  Then checking my bank statement for something else, I notice the payment went through.  Whew!  Now to cancel the account myself.

You can't always tell if a URL is legit even though the correct address with the correct letters are visible in an email or online link. To be sure, check the status bar and/or address bar.

 

For example, https://www.qvc.com .

@depglass @I posted about this scam email a couple of days ago. I forwarded  copies of both to Netflix's stop pfishing site. You will probably get a second email, worded differently than the first one. You can delete it.
