@Shanus, II think I may be the only one on the planet who may not have read the first book-or seen the movie!

I heard what it's about and I'm no prude....but maybe stopping by Victoria's Secret before you go....a favorite restaurant perhaps?  A nice scented candle??? Who knows where this may lead!

As for me, my downfall would be that popcorn! I would not need anything else if you know what I mean!

How many people have seen your new haircut? That could give you away....stop at a dollar store and buy the biggest sunglasses you can, and get back to your Jeweler's bench with a tube of superglue and any cheap baubles you could stick on....It's Marci Gras-you can get away with it-even if you're not in New Orleenz....

@Poodlepet2. Many friends have seen the haircut, hence the hoodie. No stop at VS or restaurant... A busy day after the movie...too busy for a "time out" 😜. Planned a trip to SAMs to stock up on veggies & toilet paper (that's a turn off, right?) and then Lowe's for bulbs, then PetSmart for a silent dog whistle before the gals on Community Chat (yesterday) come after Sadie & Molly for barking at the school kids coming off the bus...Whew! Make dinner & settle in for OSCARS...not the awards, just arrival part to see clothes/jewels. Busy day!!! Enjoy yours.

@Shanus- II am taking a deep breath-I thought "Uh-oh: she's a "cool kid" and won't want to associate with boring me"-but you are one of "us" after all! You do mundane things-just like us!!!

For my excitement today, I'm taking inventory of basic gardening supplies-I am so excited to find out that you are "one of us"!!!Smiley Happy

Not interested is watching this.  If you have to wear a disguise are you embarrassed by your decision or are worried what others might think?

Re: SEEING 50 SHADES TODAY

[ Edited ]

When I saw the first movie, it was only to see what all of the hoopla was about.

I certainly didn't wear a disguise.

I wasn't embarrassed, and I didn't care who saw me at the movie theater.

Really?  Why do you think that?

We purchased tickets online to see FIFTY SHADES DARKER this morning..... Sunday morning, 1st show, sneak in wearing a hoody so not recognized!!! I read the books and certainly not impressed w/ her writing abilities. I did see the 1st movie and while this trilogy is "trashy", somehow this little lady is drawn in. Besides, my theatre has great popcorn. They pop it in olive oil. I don't feel guilt adding my $8 to the millions already made on the books & movies. Hoping not too many there at that early on a Sunday morning hence the hoody, baggy jeans & sunnies.
