[Puzzle Piece]

I enjoy seeing the pretty Seasonal wrapping papers, ribbons, bows, and cards. Not much is used today as gift cards are given.  

I enjoy having gingerbread and warm cider.  I'm not one for every song that is seasonal but I like some.  

My late husband and I could sit at the mall watching all the shoppers walk past with their bags and purchases.  It all had it's magic of sort.  

What is magical to you this Holiday Season?

I love the decor, the music and that festive feeling!   Though I do admit it doesn't seem to be what it used to be, but I still enjoy the season.  Gift giving is easy for us as we don't have many to buy for,  we have no grandchildren and don't expect any at this point.  I still try to keep the Christmas dream alive that my mom instilled in me and hope my adult children will keep it going in their lives when I'm gone.

When my career was a Home Decorative Accessories Buyer, I was responsible for multiple stores. I visited some regularly & supervised the displays I planned. -That included Christmas decorations for sale.

I loved seeing the stores decorated for Christmas.

But even more, I loved the hustle-bustle of all the people Christmas shopping; they were trying to give something special to loved ones.

Every year, I chose to work Christmas Eve as a clerk & behind the cash register so that I could relieve an employee who could then go home and get ready for their celebration.

I cherished seeing my child's excitement on Christmas and seeing everyone in my extended family together when we were young.

@Puzzle Piece  I was the one who ordered the gift wrap, ribbon, gift boxes, & bows for our stores. I so enjoyed creating beautiful gift presentations.

It was all magical to me.

I also love the gift wrapping and ribbons and bows.  One of my favorite things to do is gift wrap and I always tie a small Christmas ornament on each package. I like to listen to Christmas music or have a Christmas movie on and wrap gifts....that's magical to me.
