Re: SAnDrA BENNET TALkING OVER VENDORS

Not to open a can of worms but Sandra B. isn't the "worst" at overtalking the product host.  She does get overly verbose sometimes but the other day when JZ was presenting his wine TSV, the female QVC host (RB) overtalked and interrupted him so much so that he even looked at her as if to say "please let me talk about my product."   I'd much prefer listening to the product host rather than the QVC host sometimes.

There are a few seasoned hosts who are very good at allowing the product host to describe things (DV, LT, to name a few).

Re: SAnDrA BENNET TALkING OVER VENDORS

News Flash :

Almost all the Hosts talk over the vendors  between barking out how many items are being sold .

She is not the only one.  Two hosts with a vendor is even worse.

Not by a long shot. But she's one of the "best" at it.

Couldn't agree more.  Think she's the worst for constantly piping in and NOT letting vendors speak!

She did a great job with Martha Stewart garden, and didn't talk over her! Smiley Happy

Martha brings fine things and reasonable pricces.

She's a marvel and looks fantastic.

I saw part of that presentation @febe1 and you're right - Bennett didn't talk over Martha at all.  I really think the hosts are on their best behavior with Martha.  It's like they're intimidated with her.

Martha really did look good!  Smiley Happy

Re: SAnDrA BENNET TALkING OVER VENDORS

just when I get interested in what the vender is saying, there Sandra goes and cuts her off, gives her loud opinion, and I never hear the rest of what the vender was saying. A lot of them do it and it infuriates me.  Sandra is one that I can't watch. Some of those garden things are nice and she ruins it.

I wish the powers that be had not forced that behavior on Sandra.  She used to be so easy to listen to but they finally broke her down.

I find Amy the worst at interrupting  vendors. She interrupts constantly to tell  how many are left in extra small, medium, etc. also to let everyone know she is 5 feet 2 1/2  inches and wears an XXS

@JazzyGirl Yes, Rachel Boesing talks over everyone.  She is so obnoxious.

Re: SAnDrA BENNET TALkING OVER VENDORS

Talking over makes the presentation memorable.

Here we are talking about it and some will even search for the presentation and that makes it worthwhile for qvc, having more foot traffic on their website and hopefully buying.
