Even the folks on the "evening news" blabber over each other. That technique in broadcast journalism must be taught in school now...

The WORST! I know this will get poofed. I don't usually come on to "bash" hosts.
But I tuned into a replay yesterday on Q3, and was interested in a cute sweater b'cuz it looked a bit different than SG's usual liquid knit, which I'm not into anymore....I tried for about 4 minutes I could just not listen anymore not just due to SB talking at the same time as SG, but yelling, loundly, OVER SG, couldn't hear what EITHER one of them was saying. I thought, wow...how is this still allowed and still a thing? I see that complaint about her often here, when I haven't piped in...but was surprised how bad it was this time.
Maybe I'll go back and check the sweater online.
SB is not one I like to watch, just don't like her style of presenting for whatever reasons, I don't connect with her, but this was on another level of unwatchable.

She is not the only host that does it.

Not by a long shot. But she's one of the "best" at it.

She did a great job with Martha Stewart garden, and didn't talk over her! ![]()
Martha brings fine things and reasonable pricces.
She's a marvel and looks fantastic.

Every host talks over vendors and each other. Most of it is because producers are telling them things to say and do.
There is at least one host who does it even more than producers tell her because she can't control herself.

@febe1 Agree with you about Martha but I still find it hard to believe she hasn't had any procedures done. If not, she looks stunning for a lady in her 80's. I've always liked Martha for her classy style and knowledge.

No host comes close to Jane T.

I like Sandra and find her enthusiastic with presenting items. In my opinion, if it seems like she's "talking over" a vendor, the vendor is quite capable of keeping up with including their part of the conversation. I can easily follow them. I agree that Sandra held back a bit with Martha Stewart allowing Martha to partake in presnting her items as well as telling stories. The exchange between them was pleasant and it looked as though stoic Martha was satisfied with Sandra's presentation because items were selling quickly.
