Best wishes and much success to Lisa R.  I miss her on the Q.  I signed up to receive her emails. She announced this is just the first step in her new journey.  Congratulations Lisa R!

I always liked Lisa, miss her presence on QVC and wish her well... That said, after over a year, my reaction was: a blog site... really... this is it...? She did say it was 'Step 1' but it seems that all those trips to NYC, and elsewhere were destined to go somewhere. Maybe they didn't. Either there's a lot more coming or, as others have surmised, the big plans didn't pan out and this is another stop gap measure until the real thing comes along. I continue to wish her well, but yes, like others, I find this is more than a bit underwhelming...

 I wish Lisa great success and luck. She is very intelligent knows a lot of great people and has a lot of connections. So if this endeavor fails I'm sure she will have another plan to go forward. There are many people from QVC that really miss Lisa and they follow her.  I'm sure as myself that they are excited to see what this new adventure is going to bring. Yes she left  QVC over a year ago but I do think people are interested in what she will be doing next. Some say let her go who cares.  She had a flair for fashion a great sense of humor and she was a good sales person. So I do think people are interested in what she will be doing next.

Hey, if I could afford a personal assistant to manage those aspects of my life that I don't want to have to deal with, I would SO be there. It also appears her assistant manages many of her tech needs.

I think this is a perfect venue for her.  She gets to use the experience she has gained all these years.  I have no doubt that it is not her only source of income - there has to be something else as she lives a pretty high life style for someone who hasn't had a "job" in over a year.  And the need for a personal assistant???  (Katie).  One thing stuck out to me - her "gift bag" didn't include anything from her bbf Dr Denese although there were things from her other Q friends.

Oh puhleeeeze! If all the clauses in Lisa's contract have met the required time limits, then the onus falls on the vendors who have contracts with the Q. I highly doubt QVC is o.k. with Lisa acting as a 'middleman' in hawking products from vendors already at the Q if she stands on making a profit independently from them. I wish Lisa well, but this announcement and vlog were underwhelming, to say the least. And all this hot air on her vlog regarding herself and the G.I.L.I. line is exactly that--hot air. QVC owns the brand and rights to everything trademarked G.I.L.I., and  I believe that this was the reason for the parting of ways involving Lisa and QVC. Like it or lump it.

I knew she was keeping her facebook page so personal for a reason.  At first I was wondering why anyone would post personal pics of themselves, what products they like to use, where they like to go, etc. to so many strangers I would go to her facebook page occasionally and be amazed at all her followers, most of whom she has never met..  She was keeping up her fan base for a good reason.  Well, I hope it pays off for her as she has spent a lot of time posting pics, etc. everyday since she left the Q.  I wish her success as I think she is a good person who works hard.

QVC can't prevent LR "associating professionally" with anyone she chooses to after her non-compete clause is past.

As far as QVC retaliating by severing ties with any vendor who would sell through Lisa - they wouldn't if they were making money from the vendor, some vendors sell on infomercials all the time, not every contract every vendor has with QVC is the same. She probably wants to identify herself only with those whose products she *can* sell.
