I really like Roy Orbison too. He has one of those voices that give me chills when I listen to him.

I used to watch LA Ink (with Kat Von D) and his son Alex dated Kat Von D for a while and she tattooed a portrait of his dad and himself on his arm.

He does have a beautiful voice. I'm glad you mentioned this. I have it on now.

I have heard of him but I thought Blue Bayou and Cryin were Elvis songs first so I learned something. He had a lot of tragedy in his life and still kept singing!

I too am a lover of Roy Orbison. I have the video of his Black and White performance with a very young Bruce Springsteen. If you haven't seen it you missed some great performances. We lost Roy way too soon and his beautiful voice is missed.

Love him and the Traveling Wilburys. He lost 2 sons in a fire and his first wife was killed in a motorcycle accident. Tragic. He died young. I love his duet "Crying" with k.d. Lang.
