Rod Stewart concert

I saw Rod in concert the other night at a sports arena. He had a opening act, I don't remember who but I was there for Rod. He came out gun blazing and sang most of his older hits and some from his new CD {which I'm not crazy about} He can't quite hit the registers he used to, so he's lowered the pitch on some songs.

Our guys sat there muttering "I can't believe we're at a Rod Stewart concert{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}} and we girls were dancing in the aisles saying "I can't believe we're at a Rod Stewart concert{#emotions_dlg.wub}"!"

He's pushing 70 and had a lot of stamina for the most part. Periodically he went acoustic and sat down for a bit. Did a couple of Christmas tunes and only one encore.

I really think he is a great entertainer and songwriter.

A good time was had by most.
