So I was just watching a video on Tik Tok and that old, old, song was playing in the background. I remembered every word and was singing along like I was in my right mind. LOL. It always amazes me how a song or a line of dialog, or a commercial can be so clear in my memory but newer things not so much. Well if you are old like me and remember that song, rock on. 🐦

@QVCkitty1  I often think of that song when I see the robins in the yard. And that song just gets my juices going every time I hear it. But more often I think of "When The Red Red Robin Comes Bob Bob Bobin' Along"

@QVCkitty1,  treasure those songs.  When my mom was alive and in memory care it was amazing how animated the residents would get when they had a "music gathering" and played the old songs.  Nearly every one would be singing along with big smiles on their faces to accompany their peaceful looks.  They may not have known their own name but they knew the words to the song.

Just one more example of the power of music.

My husband only listens to the oldies.  He always did.  He has Sirius Radio set to the oldies channel.

All of our grandkids know the words to just about all the oldie songs and they have their favorites.

I think those songs are plastered in our heads.  That's okay.  It was the best music and still is.

When I think of the song Rockin Robin, it is Michael Jackson's voice that comes to mind.  Released by the Jackson 5 in 1972.

And for some reason I keep humming Purple People Eater--well, I saw the thing coming out of the sky, etc!
