And yet when he was with animals like Koko he seemed so happy, completely engaged in what they were doing, how they were interacting with him.

He gave so much yet he couldn't bring himself to take enough from the world to make a happy life. There won't be anyone like him again.

I saw a photo of RW and his daughter Zelda. He had such pride and love in his eyes for her. I believe that to be so genuine.

I just loved him. I felt so much sadness when I heard about his passing. His humor was so crazy and zany, but underneath at times you could see the sweet and gentle side to him. He seemed to live to make people laugh and to make them happy, but sadly enough, I guess he could not make himself happy. A great tragedy and a great loss.

I read in the paper that with all this publicity on his death and the way in which he died that now authorities are afraid of a surge in copy cat suicides especially among young people.

I'm certainly no expert, so I'll simply make the observation that not everyone views each day as a gift.

The pain they have cost us, the evils that never happened.

Driving home last nite I was listening to the radio and people were making all kinds of assumptions and judgements about him and what he did to end his life.

It made me sick to listen to them.

What do they know about what was going on inside of him? Absolutely NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH. ZERO.
