I've been looking at a lot of pictures of Mr. Williams on the internet. Even when he is smiling, his eyes often still look very sad.

He must have been very tortured, poor man. I truly hope he is at peace now.

I can't believe you said that because I just had the same thought. They showed a picture of him at an awards ceremony and his eyes are hauntingly sad.

I just got home. Saw a bulletin during the news last night. Am just so very very sad as if it were someone I know. We made a point of watching Mrs. Doubtfire last night sort of in tribute. What an incredible talent. Also today there were clips of his many appearances on the Today show and others. So very very funny. Genius.

Have read many of the tributes. What a beloved man. I feel very bad for his children and wife.
