I'd forgotten Birdcage, too. I loved Nathan Lane and Robin in that movie.This is so very, very sad. May he rest in peace.
Some of his movies were my favorites. I loved him in "Good Morning Vietnam", "Awakenings",
"Mrs. Doubtfire", "The Fisher King", and "The Birdcage".
Oh my, The Birdcage! One of my favorites..how could I have forgotten that one.
So many roles.
I heard on the news this evening that four movies are set to come out with him this year.
Yes, we have the DVD, and it's one of the few movies that I watch every so often. I never get tired of it. Those two together were great!
I loved him in The Bird Cage!
At this moment, some people are gathering at the SF house in which Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed.
His death today occurred at his home just outside of Tiburon, Marin County, CA.
Noel, I remember that house very well, as I've also watched that movie a gazillion times.
What neighborhood is that house in? Do you know who lives there? I thought that was a beautiful house. Just the kind of house you think of in SFO. 
That Actors studio episode: the girl laughing so hard endeo uo with a broken rib or a hernia due to laughing so hard at Williams. He was the Genie in Aladdin! Genie, I want one wish: Let Robin Williams know he was loved and will be missed!I'm really sad. He was one of my favorite actors and comedians. Really the only one that made me laugh all the time! I loved seeing him on talk shows and starting one of his riffs.
He was great on the Actor's Studio. That was several years ago. I remember there was an audience member, a woman, who had the loudest laugh. Her laugh stood out from everyone else's. You could tell Robin was getting into it, and it only encouraged him more. It was great!
I loved Mrs. Doubtfire. Also, Good Morning Vietnam, Jumanji, and so many others. More recently, RV. He was really good in that, too.
Very sad for his family and his kids.

I loved watching him on talk shows, especially when they gave him free rein and just let him go on and on....he truly was brilliant.

Yes!!! For him to pull something so random and do a comedy routine 15-20 minutes was a gift!
