QVC is closing their outlet store in Brandon, FL. (suburb of Tampa)   everything is on clearance plus an extra 40% off. Gonna run over there and see what's available. Purses and jewelry are my main interests

oh brother. It was like a picked over garage sale. Almost nothing left but racks of hideously ugly outdated clothes and a bunch of Christmas wreaths. No jewelry. Handbags, seven or eight. Most of them damaged.

@smoochy   Well that's disappointing!   But at least you went.  Now you know the the stuff on QVC you are glad you didn't buy lol lol. So they had clothes from way back, must be emptying their warehouses!

Their website has been having lots of markdowns lately. Sometimes it just seems like the same stuff over and over.

We used to go to the one in Lancaster PA at least twice a year, stopped going a while back, became less and less worth the 90 minute drive. I am not sure it is still open.

This past weekend I went to QVC's last remaining outlet in Frazer, PA.

There used to be trays and trays of gold rings for sale, racks and racks of clothes, and more Dooney purses than I could count.

I have to say the store looked pretty sparse, and a lot of the things were a bit junky. The jewelry area only had lower budget pieces, basically no gold at all.

It was a disappointing shopping experience, although most of the clothes prices were dirt cheap.

One of the clerks told me QVC is sending less to the outlets, and putting more on the web in the "as is" section.

Oh, well, change is a part of shopping, but I used to get so many GREAT bargains there, especially gold jewelry, so it is a bit sad.

A long time ago we went to the one in Lancaster, PA.  It was the worst  - seriously, the store was a jumbled mess.  Looked like they were all old, used returns.

that's exactly what the Brandon store was like when they were fully operational.
