Yesterday they were so skinny looking.  Today, they are not.  I wonder why?  They are the same bunch.

I don't believe they are the same herd.  Their coats are different colors

@MamaWick maybe after they dine at your home, they've been going for midnight snacks!

They could have just eaten and their tummies are full.  Animals are going to be eating extra soon because of hibernation soon.

Dehydration?  Besides the water you give them, do they have a good water source nearby?

@Foxxee  there is a quite large lake about 3 blocks from us.

@Zhills @This is definitely my same deer.  I recognize so many of them.  Their coats may look different colors because of the different times of the day with different sunlight/clouds when I take pictures.

@MamaWick  Deer have a similar stomach to a cow. They eat and chew their cud. I'm wondering if something they ate could have caused the thinness. If they ate again at your house and they drank after you saw them.
Strange that it was all of them not just a few???

I've been thinking about them today and hope they are okay. (Not only for the deer but for you.) I know how much you love them!
Usually in a herd there are some thinner ones. I've never seen them thin all at once, then fatter.
