On a positive note, I am going to see him again tonight.  He is still you-know-what on a stick!!!  If the loudest screams I have ever heard at a show were for the Backstreet Boys, the second loudest were for Rick.  He was on "General Hospital" when I saw him the first time  This must be the sixth time, and he is still terrific.  I'm sixth row center on the floor so I get to enjoy him up close for 90 minutes ...

Re: Rick Springfield Tonight!

Enjoy!  I saw the Stones the other night. GREAT concert!  The energy was HIGH, and these guys are, hmmm, lets just say, not young! I was marveling at that.  LOL

Wow!  I watched some videos from their shows on this tour.  It would still be exciting to see them.  I've got Brooks & Dunn tomorrow night, then Peter Frampton on Monday night.  And I am looking for something over the weekend! LOL

I am soooooo jealous.  The stones were my very first concert.  I wan't to see them again before they stop touring, but they aren't coming to my town and the ticket prices in other cities (with airfare and hotel) are out of reach.

Have a blast @sashamatthews , love him!!! I can not believe Rick

turned 70 this year. I saw him twice in concert, the last being last

September, and he puts on one of the best shows that I have ever

seen. He is like no one else his age.

Rick as Noah, bottom left, also loved him on G.H.

I  heard "Don't Talk to Strangers" the other day playing in a grocery

store and I was singing along with it.Heart

Re: Rick Springfield Tonight!

@sashamatthews  Is Rick in concert by himself?

When I saw him last fall, the first performer was Tommy Tune, Greg

Kihn, Eddie Money and then finally Rick came out. I looked up his

concert dates and it looks like he is still doing some dates with those

guys and alone.

After the concert, come back on and tell us how much you enjoyed it.

@Travone   The concert was fabulous!  I'm sorry you can't go, but I do understand on the cost.... WAY too high!  There was a guy sitting in front of me who works for an airline.  He had flown in from Charlotte to Phoenix for free.  And, he also saw them in New Orleans!  Free airfare makes it much more feasible!

Oh that sounds like fun.  Always loved his song “Jessie’s Girl.”  My husband and I saw Van Morrison in Chicago in April.  He was just excellent!
