Do you all return things to the shopping channel using your own label and taking to the Post Office, instead of using the return label?
I think it will cost less for me to do this!!
Thank you~![]()

I am lazy - I use the return label and if it will fit in my mail box I leave it there or I take to a Pony Express office but don't have to wait in line because they have a bin for pre-paid postage.

I use Return Saver. Everything ships FedEx and tracking information is included. A yearly fee for as many items as you would like to return.

It depend what the item is. If it is a piece of costume jewelry I'm not spending $7 to return it so I will use my own label which will usually cost $2-$3.
If it is a larger item, I would send it using the shopping channels label. I have learned that it is not more expensive and sometimes cheaper than using my own.

@CherryHugs. Postage rates are so high now that, unless your item is very small like a piece of jewelry, you usually come out ahead using the pre-printed address label. Don't forget, if you pay at the PO to also insure the item.

Case-by-case basis for me. I sually use the return label because it is seldom the case that the postage plus the cost of insurance with my own label will be less than the prepaid label.

I never use Q the return label. It takes waaay too long to get there and get credit.
I usually use USPS Priority Mail, which includes $50 insurance, and my return gets there in no less that 3 days and several days after that, I have my credit.
And the tracking is great compared to the label, which can sit in your P.O. for days before it's even picked up and on it's way back.
Most times, it doesn't cost me more than the label, other than maybe $1-$2 and it's worth that to me.

Your return is processed faster if you use your own label or that's how it has worked for me.
I use the Q return label since they said it is insured. If I have something expensive I would print my own label on USPS or UPS site online.
I either put my packages in my mailbox or give them to the USPS Or UPS driver when I see them.
I receive tracking info from both on my mail & packages so I know when one will be in the area.
I don't use FedEx. They always want me to sign for my packages for some reason.
I'm not going to our Post Office. No Thanks. I would just get mad before I could get out of there. I rather stay at home where I don't have to deal with Stupid if you know what I mean.

I always use the prepaid label. I go to the post office during lunch and get a receipt. Never had an issue.

Tips-with those exceptions already discussed-using the channel's return label-it takes about 3 weeks for it to get back from Los Angeles to City of Commerce(3rd party who picks up from post office ony about 2 times a week) to Sparks, NV and finally on way to the Q. If you want your refund faster then this is not the way. It is usually cheaper for most items to send with labe. Plus, you are covered if it gets lost. PLEASE--
Always take the time to get it scanned at the counter and a receipt with that tracking number from them. It is worth the time. My daughter handed a computer to the person at the counter and did not get a receipt, thinking that since she handed it to a person she was safe. This was a very nice PO in Laguna Hills CA. It never showed up in tracking or at QVC. Stolen, most likely. QVC was extremely nice and credited it-but there was no record of it ever being taken by PO. All employees are not honest, guys.
