I am urging all posters with young children. to pay close attention to photos of kids or grandchildren. Should you notice a white patch on the children's pupil, please take the child to his or her doctor right away.

My best friends eight month old granddaughter, was given the news yesterday, that she has Retinoblastoma. So sadly, the prognosis is very grim. They noticed a bright white square on the pupil, after her picture was taken.

My friend is beside herself. We cried together today on the phone. She said the baby did not show any other symptoms. She said she has been fussy, the past few weeks, but they thought it was from teething.

I remember talking about this a few years ago, never thinking this would happen.
