I have to admit the kind of shopping you are talking about can be fun every so often. I have to limit it or it bores me to death.

We don't have a Ross or Marshalls, and our TJ Maxx is such chaos it gives me anxiety whenever I go in there.

Love Homegoods for retail therapy:  they don't carry clothes which I don't need.

Agree that some TJ's and other  stores are so chaotic and disorganized it causes stress, plus it takes longer to find those surprise bargains.

Do you have an awesome HomeGoods nearby, Mags?

When l'm stressed and going for retail therapy, l make sure that the stores l visit have good return policies. I find that once the stress passes, so does the need for some of the items l purchased. LOL.

@feline groovy, Home Goods? Never heard of that store, I'm in the upper Midwest, about four hours from the Mall of America. We just had an Aldi's open last week, yay!

I've never found Trader Joes to be disorganized.  For me, it's an enjoyable place to shop. I always leave there in a good mood, so I'd say I got my "therapy"!
