Restaurant chain in the south?

I've been wracking my brain to try to remember the name of a restaurant chain the was located mostly in the southern states. I want to say it was a buffet style and served lots of good southern dishes, like okra and hush puppies.

I ate at one in Tupelo MS back in the late 1980's. I looked up restaurants in Tupelo, but none ring a bell.

Does anyone have any recollection? Thanks!
