DH and I eat out fairly often and this annoys me to no end.  When dining at fast food restaurants, the workers will start sweeping practically right under our feet. The dirt & dust flying everywhere.  Then they start spraying the cleaner/disinfectant  right by us. Why must they do this right when and where we are eating?  Not very appetizing.

i know! i can’t stand it either, but sometimes people leave a horrible mess and it has to be cleaned up. it’s still yuck.

I think they have to do it at certain times, like when it's not busy or when that particular person doesn't have anything to do, or when someone yells at them to go and clean the tables.

Some places have a designated table cleaner during peak times and they have to clean every table.

I agree, though, it's horrible to have them do that while you are eating.

The clean up of floors should be done at the end of business unless there is a spill , not when people are sitting and eating. As far as clearing and wiping off the tables, they can use a disenfectant wipe instead of a spray. I would complain to the manager and give them a bad rating online and maybe even notify the Board of Health in my state.

I hate fast food places and avoid them. At least the one where you “dine,” if one can call it that, is, apparently being cleaned!

They really shouldn't be spraying chemicals near food and customers.

Some folks are very allergic and/or have lung/breathing issues.

Using disinfecting wipes, preferably unscented if available, would be better, imo.

You could take it home  to eat it. But then I guess you could not complain.

I like it when they touch the money and get you an ice cream cone  One place they wore gloves, but it's the same thing. They touched the money and the sandwich wearing the same ones.
