Responding to others on Forum's

I do realize, I'm new to these forums.

I' have viewed them ,for quite sometime

Before I had the courage to actually, join.

I've made my "Newbie" mistakes !

I just wanted to give my honest opinion

I do believe ,or maybe want to believe. Some responses ,are lost in translation.

Some can be very useful, sincere ,caring ....
Others seem ,very harsh IMHO.

My point being ,we really don't know what is going on in someone's life ...wouldn't it be nice to be a little thoughtful with our words ?
Or maybe possibly, pass on posting something that, isn't nice ?

This is just my opinion, I've read such wonderful, uplifting post from a lot of people ...I do realize, I will probably get blasted for this post ...I can personally take it ...others ...maybe not so much 😕

Just something I wanted to address .

This is in no way ridiculing anyone for their opinions....we all know ,that some responses can be interpreted the wrong way

Anyone ,understanding my concerns?

No.....I don't understand what you are trying to say.   Is it advice?

I understand what you are saying, but some will say freedom of speech, others say I'm brutally honest. I try to respond with respect for others feelings. Like how some write, "that top is ugly", or "I would never buy that". I guess it gives some a sense of superiority. Who knows.

I see what you mean, I've been 'pounced on' a few times when giving my opinion or likes and dislikes.

I just ignore it, not worth my time!

@Redshoes07

I do believe in freedom of speech as well

The fact that you respectfully reply ,in my opinion speaks volumes about you! ❤️

'Freedom of Speech' does not give the right to be mean to others.

I'm also a constitutionalist but there is no freedom of speech in an owned forum. The owners make rules whether someone else likes or agrees with them, or not.

Also, whether we like it or not, it takes all kinds to make the world go round and there are all kinds of ways to convey a thought.  If you think your OP is going to change anyone, think again.  I've been here a very long time,  One soon learns who they enjoy interacting with and who they wish to avoid.

I understand your concerns.  Many of us have been where you are now. We live in an imperfect world so some of this is to be expected.

Sometimes we agree...sometimes we don't. I don't set out to cause or invite trouble.  Neither do I think it wise to sat idly by and never say     anything with some of the remarks I hear here....especially knowing how much damage the tongue can do to another person's  reputation.  I have seen what the tonque can do to people and it's not pretty.

We have all gossiped at some time in our lives but we should be sorry for it and try to do better. Continuing to do it shows a hard heart.
