Loves,
How about the $ challenge?
12-31-2014 01:16 PM
Loves,
Mine is also to RRR- reduce, reuse, recycle.
These are my kitty toiletry pouches, about 10 years old. On the smaller ones, the zipper pulls snapped. I haven't found anything online that I liked better, so I decided to "fix" them with my DIY crocheted plaid ribbon to tie them.

Here is another one of my RRR projects, for a game at school using fish dice. Can you guess what the original container was?

Oh, Lola! Yes I CAN guess that container!!! Just KEEP CALM and...!!!
The money challenge I will need to consider... it is SUCH a great idea! I need to post the idea that DD found for me (you may have seen this) using ping-pong balls hanging and starting them in a "swirl" pattern... interesting. Love your crocheted pulls... what a great idea! Also, there is some being sold online that is dyed hem tape for shabby chic and it is very pretty...

Today's resolution... HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2015... on this NEW YEAR'S EVE DAY... is this:
"Author Shauna Niequist writes,"This is what I want you to do: I want you to tell someone you love them, and dinner’s at six. I want you to throw open your front door and welcome the people you love into the inevitable mess with hugs and laughter."

magic... with the ribbon... oh, I have loads of ideas... first of all... there is a metal french-looking hanging mailbox on one of my walls and it needs to have the dried hydrangeas either taken out or freshened... tied with a bow!
I am craving a boxwood wreath... to be hung with the wide ribbon... so it won't take a lot of ribbon... some touches of ribbon around the house right now I may change out... I used a narrow black and white check ribbon around the bottom of a small white jar lamp in the kitchen, so it is time for a change... here's an idea ...

Good guess, Loves, but NO!
It's even more dastardly than drinking Calm.

Here is my other RRR cheap fix.
I noticed that one of the purple stones fell off my Kelli Kouri belt (which is ironic, because the first one I received had stones missing).
I went to the craft store, and for about $2.50 I bought a replacement purple bead (I had to buy a whole strand of them) and epoxyed a stone on the blankety blank belt.
Now I have extras available, just in case.

You were smart to do this... it is SO PRETTY! My KK belt is plain ol' silver and black... or pewter...
OK is it a toilet bowl brush holder???

Nope- it's something that you drink.
