Request for prayers, please.

Admittedly, I've not been faithful to my religion, but I have always prayed....never really knowing if God heard me...but mostly to comfort my heart or to ask for help and comfort of others.

My brother-in-law is gravely ill and has been hospitalized since early February. It does not look good as of right now, but we are trying to remain hopeful. My husband has been deeply affected by this and has spent every day at the hospital.

I just don't know what to do or say right now...He lost his mother last year and was still recovering from that....he has never been a deeply emotional person, but this has drained him.

Loss is part of life, I know...but honestly, sometimes I just want to be free of heartbreak....don't we all?

Please say a little prayer for this man if you have a minute...or simply ask for God's mercy.
