Repainting Kitchen cabinets - has anyone done it?

I need to repaint our white kitchen cabinets. The white has yellowed some.

What kind of paint, etc did you use? I dont want to just paint it and have them "look" like I repainted them, is there a way to get the same finish on them that they came with? Sort of enamel I guess?
