I know all of the phone numbers for people I talk to frequently.  I can even list the phone numbers we have had since we have been married, and the one I had as a child, as well as the phone numbers of long gone relatives.

Every once in a while, if I'm in a hurry, I have a mind melt and forget one.  But then my brain eventually retrieves it, lol.

I remember numbers that I dialed prior to cell phones being available. Old school friends that I haven't dialed in over 40 years. Now with everyone changing plans and getting a new number, it is too hard to track. 

I remember my first home number which an exhange for the 2 digits. My turquoise phone was mounted to the wall because we were fancy lol

I also carry all my numbers in a separate device in case I lose my cell.

I use the phone very little, but the three people I am in contact with I have committed their phone numbers to memory, but just in case I have them written down also, now ask me what my home number is on any given day, I honestly don't think I could tell you!

I do not own a cell phone and never plan on it either!

I keep a  3x5 card folded in my wallet with important numbers on it (in pencil) so I can change the numbers if needed.  I keep a MASTER list on notepaper of ALL  my phone numbers. This is old school but a reliable system! 

My Dad did this way before Cell Phone Life. He also taught me to always have at least a $20 bill tucked away for gas money and ths was way before I had a credit card.  I still like to keep a few $20s in my wallet out of old habits.

@gacat123 I also keep a small index card w/ family #s & my doctors' #s on it. If my cell was lost, would have no idea what those numbers are. They are backed up to my contacts on my IPad, though.
