Re: Remembering Betty and Helping Animals

Thank you @Cakers3 for all the photos you posted. Betty was friends

with every living thing it seems. Me, I couldn't come within inches of

a snake!

@ROMARY Sorry to say that Ponty passed away several years ago. If what

I recently read is accurate, I do not believe that Betty currently had any dogs.

She did not want to replace Ponty realizing that her next dog would most

likely outlive her.

No really certain way to stop having your name given to other charities when you donate. Charities buy and sell donor lists like trading baseball cards. It is how they get their lists for solicitation. You could go to a shelter in person and donate pet supplies. They are always in need of food, towels, leashes, etc. and sometimes the needs are posted on their website.

@Duckncover people give anonymously all the time.  It's not a new concept.  If one wanted to do so, I'm sure there is a way.  Very wealthy people donate all the time and no one even knows it.  There is a way.  Just have to figure it out.

Appreciate the enjoyable photos of Betty in her element, @Cakers3 and @threecees.

Here's Betty and her friend Koko, someone she particularly adored and who she chatted with for a long time.

Re: Remembering Betty and Helping Animals

Betty White was very closely connected to the 'Morris Animal Foundation'.

Here is the page for donations to the "Betty White Wildlife Fund" for anyone interested.  You can use PayPal there, too.

Re: Remembering Betty and Helping Animals

I make donations  frequently to 5 different animal organizations and shelters.  One in town helps  low income seniors like myself , paying for vet visit n blood work.  When I have a few dollars extra I go in the shelter and give back.

I will go in on Betty White,s BD and donate .  I also bring food, towels, blankets.  With covid, some shelters won,t take food, just donations.

even in the smallest way, I think Betty would be pleased!Heart

@threecees

My wife and I have lived most of our lives together. During those dkecades, we have chosen homeless/helpless animals as our top concern.

Just as our cherished Betty White, we plan on continuing to do the same, until we can't.

Rest in Peace,  Betty ♥️♥️
