Jordan Turpin was the one that broke out of their prison home and saved the siblings.  Fast forward to 2023.  She is 22 with her own apartment, a Tik Tok star and a model that was just featured in Elle magazine.

So glad that her life seems to be going well.  She still has emotional issues to deal with, but has come a long way.

I do remember that.  It's heartening to see her today doing well after all she went through.

She's a beautiful young woman and modeling suits her.

I wish her well but the modeling industry is brutal and can be very exploitive. I hope she gets good guidance and has a lot of supportive friends. Bless her..

I think she's a beautiful girl and definitely model material; I just hope she's not taken advantage of in the business.

I too hope things will go well for her.

BUT.

I vaguely recall watching a sort of documentary type show that followed the Turpin children after their 'release', & it was pretty grim.

Many of the kids were floundering, some in unsafe living conditions w/ no one to direct or ground them.

It was very sad, & I was surprised that after such cloistered lives, they were left to navigate the world and fend for themselves.

Sort of the way some foster kids who age-out of the system at 18, & then have to figure it out.

I also saw that documentary, I think 20/20 or Dateline.  The kids had a trust set up for them, but none of them could access it.  One of the brothers couldn't even get a bicycle paid for.  No one had any answers.  I hope they got that straightened out.

She is a beautiful girl.  It would be nice if something turned out right for her, for once.

@sabatini  I also saw that show. It was very upsetting. A number of them had no place to live. Others were horribly mistreated in foster homes. I was hoping some wealthy person was watching the show and would reach out to help. So very sad.
