BTW, I found this mind blowing.

When Cayce was still alive, I'd have to look up the date, but decades ago, he advised diabetics to eat a lot of Jerusalem artichokes.

Years later, it was found that Jerusalem artichokes have a natural supply of insulin.

I believe in an after life-everlasting life and attempt to live my life in a way that allows me comfort in my personal beliefs--

But, it is not in the form of reincarnation-I really hope I only have to pass this way once-though I do believe it may well exist, that something exists and all things are possible-which may never be fully understood as earthly beings.

For those of you who are fascinated with reincarnation, you might be interested in the studies of the very young children who have no way of knowing what they know.

Specifically; the boy who lived before and the island of Barra.

Edgar Cayce funded a medical hospital in his time.  He was all about healing, as I'm sure you know, and supported medical treatment, not something wacky, at least to my knowledge.  I think it's still going but I haven't checked it out in a long time.  You may know all this already.

@Noel7, I was more thinking about more recently published books about Cayce that might be out there, but I haven't looked for.

The Association for Research and Enlightenment, an organization run by his son, still exists - physically and online, to inform people about Cayce and his ideas and works. They mention that the hospital building still stands in Virginia Beach, but it now serves as the headquarters of ARE. I'm going to bookmark the website & cruise around later.

More food for thought.  Betty Edie had a near-death experience and wrote a book about it entitled, Embraced By The Light.  She touched on the topic of reincarnation.  She said we only come to earth once but that we have the cells/DNA from all our former ancestors.  These cells have our ancestors lives/memories imprinted on them and that’s what some people are picking up when remembering a past life.

One basis of reincarnation is that we are here to learn a lesson, to make ourselves better for the next return.  Something to to work toward anyway.

There is so much in this world that is currently unexplained; but personally, I don't believe at all in reincarnation, and am glad not to.
