I tried putting this on the Beauty, but Viewpoints was the only catagory that came on my screen, no other choice. The Q online screwed up again?

Anyway, is Gel the only way to go on nails now? My manicurist said reg. is for toes only. I hate the Gel. She said drys fast and no waiting. I have been having my nails done since 1979 when they became popular to do, the false ones. I told her, I'm retired, I have time to wait until they dry. She makes you use a small fan, not what we used to use to dry reg. nail polish. Why should I pay and extra 5.00 for gel, when I have time. If I were working, I would do it to get out of there fast after work. I'm looking for someone else, but can't find shop in my area with good reviews. Took almost two hours today which normally takes 1 hour to do my nails and they look no different than the reg polish and cost more, so no tip.
