Does anyone else have this or had this problem regarding font...?

I am replying to a post here on QVC message board and all of a sudden my font size changes right in the middle of my post.  This has happened several times to me.  Has anyone else experienced this?

This has not happened to me.  However, as long as we're discussing font, I wish there were a way to set the font permanently, rather than having to choose a font with each post if you don't care for the one the Q has decided is standard.

I haven't had that happen either.  I kind of wish they had left the whole font and font-size thing alone.    All the different fonts and sizes make my head hurt.   All people need to do to enlarge the font they are reading is to enlarge the page on their end.  

One thing I'm seeing here lately that is a bit annoying (no fault of the board) is that some posters will hit 'quote' and then put the cursor up into the quote box and type their reply there, so it looks like the quoted person said the whole thing.  When you realize that part of it is a reply, when you have to figure out who said what.

It's really very easy to make sure you type BELOW the quote box because that is where it puts your cursor.  What i actually do is to italicize the quoted parts, then enter down TWICE to type my reply so that it is adequately separate.   They should have the quoted posts italicized anyway.  Quoting somebody else is the main purpose of italics.

That really irritates me, too, @chickenbutt, as well as the default font size being too small.  Bellabutterfly, I've never had the font size change on me in the middle of writing.

I don't have problems with font sizes changing on their own, but I would be very appreciative if the Mods would get rid of Font Size 1, which is really too small for many of us reading thru.  If you could make #2 the beginning size, it would save a lot of tired eyes - at least for me and possibly others.  #1 is just too small for my aging eyes.  Why couldn't the second size become the first?

The default font is too small.  It should be at least a 2.  I don't want to make my page bigger because it makes everything bigger.  Since they gave us the option to change the font, we should have the option to keep the font we choose.  I like to see the different fonts and colors people choose.  I've only seen a few that were too extreme, and I think those people were just experimenting.  And, when you're quoting someone it really helps to use a different font from theirs or it lools like the two posts are the same person.  Please QVC, either change your font to something bigger or let us choose and keep our own.

Yes, I have trouble quite often.  Especially if I'm on my Ipad which I'm not right now.  Usually I'm on the Ipad and the font will jump back to the Q's default font on it's own.  The size and color are a problem, too.  If it were possible, I'd make what you see now my default.  It's a nuisance to have to customize my post every time.  I can live with it but don't like it.

I've noticed that if I add a link or a picture and then want to keep on typing, it will go back to the default font - but my chosen options still show in the formatting row.  I sometimes have to keep clicking on them several times to get them to come back.

As for quoting, I've found it works best after you quote to type your reply first, and then go back and make any edits you want to the quoted post.  If I try to edit first - highlighting, or deleting extraneous paragraphs, etc. when I try to start my reply below, the system extends the quote box, and I can't type outside of it.  I think this is why so many quoted posts are so hard to read.  When this happens to me, I cancel the whole post, and start over again from scratch.
