Refrigerator Shelf Liners

[ Edited ]

Does anyone use refrigerator shelf liners?  I remember Jill Bauer (I think) recommended these on the Today Show one morning, but I don't remember the brand.  I'm going to clean my refrigerator today and would like to start using these.

Does anyone use them?  Do you like them?  Is there a specific brand you'd recommend?

@NickNack

No, but a poster here a few years ago (I forget who it was) mentioned the Target $ bins at the front of the store, and that's what I did when I reorganized and adjusted the shelves of the refrigerator.

 I have a bin for condiments, one for cheese, another for meat/poultry, and one for drinks.  They are easy to pull out, grab what I need, and if something leaks it doesn't affect the glass shelf.

I also put coated wire shelves in the freezer......and stack the small plastic baskets on them.    Keeps small items from getting "lost" or falling out on the kitchen floor when I open the freezer door.

I use ribbed refrigerator liners from The Container Store. I love them.  They're along the line of what @jackthebear @posted.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I use a similar product.  To me the ribs are essential to prevent slipping.  I cut them perpendicular to the shelf ribs, seem to contain spills that way.

Happy 🧼 cleaning, the refrigerator is a least favorite thing to clean, right up there with dusting the shutters / blinds.

Thank you so much for your replies @Drythe  @gidgetgh  @jackthebear  @Desertdi  and @lolakimono .  All sound like good ideas.  I think I'm going to order some liners and try them.

I use the shelf liners you buy on a roll. Cut to fit yourself.
