The National Weather service says this April was a record  for rain storms here in St. Louis with a total rain fall of 10.85 ". The previous record was in 1893 with a total of 10.84".  It rained yesterday and thank goodness no tornadoes which they were predicting a possibility but there were a couple of touchdowns in ILL. (EF1)  It's been raining here this morning but they canceled the severe storm possibility for today, only intermittent showers

This has been one stormy spring !!   Pray all is well for those in ILL and beyond.  My son is a overnight 18 wheel truck driver and I was worried about his trip to Iowa but he was ok.  How's your weather today and I bet there are lots of broken records this year !

@Goodie2shoes

It seems like it was a very dry winter. Not much snow fall at all.

Having the first all day intermittent showers day here for the first time this spring.

Glad you are safe! We could use some of that rain here in eastern PA. Very dry, and no sign of any releif. My son's family in western PA got violent storms two days ago, but we got nothing.

Not all that much rain here in So CA but that's usually how things are.

What we did have are those fires that destroyed many homes and businesses.

We are at over 100% for snowpack when it was measured in April so that’s good for water this summer. The fear here is always wildfires and our place is in a high risk zone.
