Just wondering if anyone uses one of those online password managers? Years ago I used one and was told by a computer tech not to ever use one of those, as they can get hacked too. Now, I read an article that highly suggests using one as they have become very sophisticated. Several have been recommended to me: 1Password, LastPass, KeePass, and Dashlane. I'm sure there are many others.
One of my big concerns is can you access your computer and the passwords if you are using someone else's computer? We are not big computer people, so we only have a desktop. We do travel now and then and use a relative's computer or a public computer. Can anyone help me?
Thanks much!

I've used 1Password since it first came out. Wonderful and keeps getting better with every (free) update they provide.

@AspenGrove ... The article I read rated 1Password as the top password manager. I'll have to go to the site and read about it.

@Yardlie, I work in the technology industry. Every single systems engineer with whom I work also uses 1Password both on work and home computers. It's really that good. And, if you download the 1Password app on your phone, you always have your logins at your fingertips when you're away from home. The seamless integration of the software between your home/work computer(s), cell phone, and other digital toys (like iPads, etc.) really can't be beat. I highly recommend.

Thanks so much @AspenGrove. Sounds like just what I'm looking for!

I've been using Dashlane, but I might check out 1Password. You have to pay a fair amount to use Dashlane across all of your devices.
