I get mine free from Bank of America since I have accts with them No fees at all.

My checks are FREE thru my bank. Just call up & reorder. No shipping or postage fees either.

My bank stopped offering checks years ago.  I use Bradford and they still carry top stub personal checks.  Never had a problem with them.  I just use a plain security check but if designer patterns are what you like they offer them, too.

After not having any checks for a long time, I just ordered some from Sam's Club. My nice banker actually recommended that I look at Sam's Club or Costco to buy them because their prices were SO much less than what the bank sells them for. I received them earlier this week and they're just great (I chose a plain style).

Our credit union offers them for free and always has.  Their *plain* checks are pretty and that's what we have.

I still use checks.  Mailed three out today. 

OMGosh I write them out in cursive, too.  Don't worry the stupid ATM machine knows how to read cursive (and poor handwriting) when I deposit them.

I get them through my bank(local)..they will not mail the box due to mailbox crooks all boxes are at the road...They call when they are ready and we pick them up.

My bank recommended a couple of reputable check companies and I chose the least expensive one. I've tried other companies over the years but this one was the best yet.

I get them through my bank free because of the total balance I keep in my various accounts.  However, years ago, I ordered them from Wal-Mart or Current.
