I had ordered an ammolite ring from the Gems en Vogue collection. Well, it came on Saturday..........the envelope, that is. All I got was the envelope with a knife slash through it where someone had reached in and removed the ring (the packing slip was still there).
My mail carrier is a good guy, but I can't believe he would deliver an envelope that was obviously empty. I called the Evine CS, and she said they would envestigate and eventually credit my account. The ring was on a special anniversary price and is sold out.
I checked the mailbox very soon after my mail carrier left, and it's right next to my front door in full view of 24 condos as well as many dog walkers, so I doubt that someone there could have done it. I'm so bummed (and angry). I'm also scared because I don't know if this person works at the P.O., for UPS, or whatever, so it could happen again!

I ordered a set of 4 assorted soaps from the Beekman Boys on Evine but there were only three when it arrived. I called Customer Service and they credited me with the price of one soap. I could not reorder since it was sold out. You will never know what happened so I would not worry about it.

There are dishonest people working everywhere.... If you are concerned, ask to have delivery only with signiture. That was you can inspect before you accept package. Why live in fear?

The USPS is obligated to deliver anything mailed regardless of its condition or how long ago it was mailed. I once got a birthday card from my parents 3 years after they mailed it.

Yes who knows what happens. This year I sent my son his valentine card along with his girlfriends, she got it the following day, he got two weeks after valentines, all smooshed and ugly.
